Android Wear customization

Hi There,

Here is my scenerio. I have a motorcycle helmet with integrated bluetooth which connects to my phone. Therefore, when I receive a phone call while on the bike, I can answer and talk with the caller. I don't need a lecture on the safety concerns on doing this. This is not why I am starting this tread. I don't necessarily want to answer calls from everyone while on the bike. It can be a distraction to me and is somewhat annoying to the caller as there can be a lot of background noise (wind, traffic etc). That being said, I have been trying to find a way of having some sort of display on my handlebars that would display who is calling. I don't like leaving my phone there as the elements can be hard on it. So, I picked up a used Samsung Gear Live smart watch thinking this would be an ideal situation. It works great. Found an app call WhosCall which turns on the display and shows me who is calling. As a "nice to have" feature, I was hoping that I could configure it so that when a text message came in, I could glance and see if it is important. However, this I am having difficulties figuring out. It worked great when I first connected the watch to my phone but then the watch did a system update and it stopped working. A bit of research told me that due to popular demand Google removed the "wake on notification" function from Android Wear and now it depends on gestures to show the notification. So, I thought hey, the Gear Live is always going to be connected to power, so why not use the Developer option to leave the display on when connected to power. This somewhat works. Problem is, that it only shows the first notification and all subsequent notifications are hidden until I clear the first and so forth. So, what I need is an app that will automatically clear notifications from the Gear Live after say 10 or 15 seconds. Anyone know of such an app? Any other suggestions to accomplish my goal would also be greatly appreciated.

The Gear Live is a perfect solution for my needs as it connects fairly securely to the charging base which in turn can be semi-permanently mounted to my handlebars. So I can remove the Gear Live when security is a concern.

Thank you,
Jason...
