Android Z665c (ZTE) will not send or receive text messages, how to correct this problem?

I own a ZTE Android -Model # z665c. It stopped sending and receiving text messages. I really enjoy texting so please will you tell me how I can fix this problem?

Welcome to Android Central! Does this persist after a reboot? If so, are you having any other problems with phone calls?

If it persists, I would contact your carrier and see if they have any ideas. They might want to replace your SIM card.
