androidcentral app wants access to set my Wallpaper etc. !!?? Why??

This app has access to these permissions:
Network communication
full network access
view network connections
Storage
modify or delete the contents of your USB storage
System tools
test access to protected storage
Wallpaper
set wallpaper

Why ?
I would like the app but I hate all these apps, that want access to a lot more than is necessary.

Maybe because it have a wallpaper section that let you select wallpapers and set them, manually. If I was concerned about such things, I would be more concerned of the other permissions.

Sure thats why I mentioned them all, but the wallpaper thing just seemed so ridiculous, when you only want a forum app.

If all you want is to access the forums, then get Tapatalk.

Before you download apps, study before hand what they can do, as for the forum app, it lets you download wallpaper`s from here, so that is why it has access to set the wallpaper.
