I'm an Android fanboy 150%... However, for the first time, something on an iPhone made me to a double-take.... And wish i had it.

Have you seen how you can press hard on keyboard the new iPhone 6s phones, and have TOTAL cursor placement control in your text field? It's basically a temporary, virtual trackpad.

I hope this is eventually built into Android keyboards... I know the Samsung keyboard has something close with cursor control, but I'd like to see it on SwiftKey, etc!

Thanks!

With SwiftKey the closest thing could be activating the cursor arrows at the bottom of the keyboard.

Thanks.... The nice thing about the trackpad is that you don't have to look at your fingers to move the cursor. With the arrow keys, let you have to look at what we are pressing. Thanks for thething about the trackpad is that you don't have to look at your fingers to move the cursor. With the arrow keys, let you have to look at what we are pressing. Thanks for the input.

Many keyboard apps use a long press for other symbols, so there'd need to be some other way to activate it. Does the iOS keyboard do long press symbols as well and then a harder press for the trackpad?
