Angler possibly leaked?

The battery bump leads me to believe they are doing a smaller battery. If they went big with the battery the back would be flush and the bump wouldn't be needed. I can't understand why they'd want that bump! If you just put in a bigger battery you can eliminate the bump and have a huge battery. That's a win-win. But I guess Google gets involved in the spec wars too and wants to have a thin device. Sigh.

I like the build of the Huawei Nexus :P but apparently I'm the only person on the Internet who does. I'm still waiting to see the Hammerhead though.

That is one ugly fake, though.

I kinda like it. :-\ The camera hump isn't that bad at all to me. I would glady trade in those front-facing speakers for a shorter phone, though. This is gonna exacerbate one of the issues with the rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It might be too high up to reach comfortably.

Fugly.

Bezels are hideous also. Looks like the size:screen is poor.

Definitely will be either LG or Style now. This is good news that I have narrowed my search down to two phones lol

Not sure what's worse the top and bottom bezels or the hump. But this could also be a prototype or in a disguise

To be fair here: I did read a rumor early on in the year that Google wouldn't necessarily be going for "pretty" in the looks department where the Nexus was concerned this year. Instead, they'd be opting to focus on the power user, in terms of internals. Now, given the fact that Total Tech (who I believe more so than evleaks at this point, and whose leak of the Moto X Style was dead on) did say that Google and Huawei were supposedly testing three models of the phone, with three different battery sizes (3,300, 3,900, and 4,200 mAh, respectively) , if that's indeed the case, then this leak today would make sense with that early assertion. If this phone, as is, comes with either the supposed 3 900 mAh battery, or even better, the 4,200 mAh battery, I'd still have to get it.

I remember when the first Nexus 5 came out people were going crazy about the camera lens on the back. Now years, later the Nexus 5 is an all time favorite design by many people.

With that being said, this phone will not follow that path. It is ugly and will forever remain ugly. The new N5 is a thing of beauty compared to this.

Might I ask why everyone thinks it's so bad? I'm interested in the responses. Is it just that there's a camera hump or is it the whole black bar? Otherwise this is mostly what we've seen in leaks, so I'm wondering what changed.

I'm going to slap a case on anyway, so I couldn't care less about aesthetics. The bezels are huge though. Front facing speakers don't mean they have to be gigantic.

And an 810 on top of it all? Ugh, wanted to go big for my new phone, but I guess I'll go LG.
