Angry Birds ads suck

Yeah If you have the dinc(and not rooted) you can just cut data off and make sure wifi is also off if your near a hotspot .

Menu button>settings>wireless&networks>wifi "unticked" and scroll down to >mobile network and "untick" also for no ads. phone receives phone calls.

I think on dx(not rooted) tho you have to go into airplane mode on stock 2.2 to stop ads. phone doesnt receive calls work in airplane mode

I'm debating on trying to find the address of the adserver, and block it via OpenDNS. That wouldn't work when I am on mobile data, but it would when I am on WiFi, and am on a network that I control.

Just for the record, I would pay $5-$10 for an ad free version in a heartbeat.

in an email I got from them announcing the "angry birds seasons" game pack released yesterday they said they was working on having the ads removed some maybe they will have ad less games in the near furture ,

That's cool. I didn't actually read that far in the email yesterday. I see "New Angry Birds in Market" and went straight to the market to get it.

I just spent over $75 in Angry Birds plush toys (Christmas presents for all my Angry Bird friends). I think I ought to get a complimentary copy of Angry Birds without the ads
