Annoying Bootloop issue

The other day my Snapchat wouldn't let me log in because my Samsung S6 was rooted. I decided to unroot by clicking unroot in the Superuser app, then I was able to log in fine. After turning the phone on the next day it was stuck in a bootloop. Is there anyway to solve the problem besides flashing the stock ROM, as I would lose all data using this method. Any other methods? I am in Hawaii and when I searched online then I found places like TCAWireless and other which provide best mobile solutions. Should I go? Just don't know what to do? I'm confused. Please help.

You might be able to boot into recovery. If so, do that and then clear the cache. Sometimes that will allow the phone to boot.

If that doesn't work, you can sometimes fix the loop by flashing the rooted firmware in an update mode. That will likely depend on whether ODIN can keep a connection to your phone. The benefit here is that you won't normally lose data. No guarantee here though.

I'd expect that most repair shops will do something similar. There just aren't many options to fix this. Keep in mind that many won't want anything to do with a rooted device.

Most reliable repair shops will first, before even letting a technician touch it, and in full view of you, do a factory reset. (that's to protect themselves - after that, it's impossible for them to steal any of your data.) That's just what you don't want. (In my shop, working on a phone that hadn't been factory reset was grounds for you to be fired immediately - before you gently put the phone back on the workbench. Being threatened with a suit once makes you ten times as careful.)

Clearing the cache might do it.

If not, rooting again by flashing Superuser might get the phone back.

Once you get the phone back, back everything (except the system apps) up, and copy the backup to a PC. (See Backing up an Android Device if you don't know how to back everything up - SmartSwitch won't do it.)

If it still doesn't come back, see if your carrier can flash the last update to the ROM for you. An update doesn't do anything to data or downloaded apps.

If not, you'll probably have to go into Odin and flash the entire ROM - see [Samsung] How to flash Stock ROM via ODIN if you don't know how. (And have something to do for at least 15 minutes or you might die of boredom.) You will lose all your data and downloaded apps, but at least you'll have your phone back.
