Annoying car bluetooth issue

My car automatically feeds phone calls through the car audio system. With my previous iPhone, I'd just hit the privacy button and it would let me use the phone like normal with the phone audio coming from the phone itself. I'm finding that with the one, it will revert back to the car audio as the output, about 6 seconds in, requiring me to hit the privacy button again to have that setting "stick" which causes some confusion for the person on the other line as I'm switching over again. Anyone else having this problem?

Nope. Mine stays in the audio mode I set out it when making or receiving calls on b-tooth.
