Annoying screen lock galaxy s9 help wanted

My phone suddenly is locking with a digital clock and date and alarm symbol.This display turns on immediatly as soon as screen idle / not used and blocks everything until home button hard pressed or power key depressed which is very annoying and pin code screen comes after that.

I have turned on / off AOD and this screen display is not AOD as AOD is being dispalyed seperately if turned on.I have tried every option and setting I can think of but this screen does not disable.

Not sure what you are asking. Did you want to disable the screenlock?

Yes exactly .Is there anyway to disable this screen lock .
Have tried AOD off but AOD just adds itself as another layer .
This screen still remains and locks the phone immediately.

Are you using a Samsung Theme?

Looks like accidental touch protection, can disable in settings >display> scroll to the bottom toggle off

Mustang thnx for the reply but iv already checked ,it not accidental T.Protection.That has a different screen and a slider.

This screen remains on as long as phone not used and its not AOD but some other annoying process.
The clock and padlock keeps floating on screen in random positions.

The main points to explain problem are.

This screen is not AOD screen

It is not even a screen lock I think because after long press home button it goes away and pin code .
page which is actual lock page comes in view.

It keeps clock and padlock display floating as long as phone is not being used which is also drawing battery capacity.

It is more similar to a wallpaper screen saver but in settings or options of display there is no such thing to disable.

Perhaps some option in developers options might be able to turn it off.

Might be a app u downloaded, check device administrator apps see if anything there besides find my phone ..

Do you have Plex installed? AFAIR, it used its own lock screen if you allowed it, even though the app is for something completely different.

No I never installed Plex in fact never heard of it.
Isnt there any app through which i can disable this screen.

Have you got Trusted Places on? I have read if you turn this off the padlock will disappear

I have rechecked this order of settings .The screen still remains and locks phone .
Is there a way i could delete the process running this screen.
How to find the process or isolate the app running this screen.

Go back to Mustangs post. Put the phone in Safe mode and rule out an app dl cause.

That screen shows up for me if I tap my AOD clock either accidentally on purpose.
@mustang7757 remember I had this issue a while back and I solved it.

Im on a Note 10 +.

Padlock or not mine behaves the same way. It freezes the screen until you tap the power button. It prevents face unlock or tap from unlocking the screen. I never found a way to change it

I'm not certain how the OPs activates but deactivation is the same.

I never solved it. I'm not sure it can be disabled and I've never seen it mentioned anywhere and I've searched it out. Mine only activates if the lockscreen display is tapped on the time or calendar as in the screenshot below. Until I figured that out it drove me crazy as to what activates it.
