hello there... question, is it possible to substitute the blinkfeed on the left edge in home screen with another app, keeping everything else the same in a HTC 10? thanks!

Yeah, the best you can do is remove Blinkfeed and shift things around and/or set a different screen as home. You can't substitute something in that exact spot.

i see... sad to hear that, i like the cleanness of the home screen with the minimalist theme in sense... thanks anyway!

You don't have to change the theme... Blinkfeed is just a regular page like your other pages.... Long press the screen go to manage home screen pages and remove blinkfeed

If u want to use another news widget in its place just add a page and put the widget on that page... I think you believe blinkfeed is baked into the theme like google now is on the Google now launcher but it isn't

hey man... thanks for the info... what i was wondering was if i could use the swipe to call another app (not even news, a totally different app) keeping the rest as it is... according to the replies i cannot... i could use a different launcher to assign that swipe (or any for that matter) but i wanted to keep the clean and minimalist home screen of sense...
