Another Newbie

Hello everyone! I have been a visitor on this site for about 2 months now. I am getting ready to purchase an android based phone. I really like the looks and the feel of the Fascinate. My question is, is this going to be a good phone for a first time android user? Please keep in mind the Bing-Google search thing does not matter to me because I will eventually root the phone anyhow, and I do not use search that often to matter.

I'm a first time android user myself and I have the fascinate. I love it and am enjoing the droid experince. Id recommend the fascinate based on my exp thus far

I bought two of these phones 1 for my wife and 1 for my son. Neither one have Android experience and both have picked it up fine. Android phones are not that hard to learn you just need to sit down with it for a little while at the beginning to learn the basics. As always you can come here with questions most everyone here is very helpful with newbie questions. Remember to search first because there is a good chance it's been asked before. I say go for it. You will wonder why you waited so long.

Due to the interface, I would say this is actually one of the better Android devices to start with. This is one case where I think TouchWiz is actually a good thing.
