Still loving my Nexus 7 after a week's use. Another question has come up.....is there a way to move an app icon from one place on your home screen to another? Not a big deal but I'd like to move a couple of the apps I use more frequently to a more convenient place.

Thanks for any help.

Long press on the app icon and you can move it wherever you want.

Also, if you long press and quickly drag and drop an icon on top of another icon it will create a folder for both icons, which you can name. It's good for organization. For example, I have all my news apps in "News" folder.

Once you've made a folder like that, is there a way to remove one app from the folder and drag it back to the home screen?

Yup, you just tap on the folder to view the apps inside it, then long press the app you want to move, and drag it outside the folder.

You can also add an app to the homescreen multiple times. For example, I have a folder named "Music", which has Google Play Music, Pandora, Amazon Music, and several other apps in it. At the same time, I use Play Music the most, so I put another copy of it in my quick launcher at the bottom of the screen.
