Been keeping an eye on this since you posted it. I was burned by this person a few months ago on Android.net. I went to his public record address on Holly Ave in Mingo Junction OH..... which was an old home address for him and in foreclosure. Tried local PD too, to no avail. Seems whoever this guy really is he uses random names off of Google or eBay because the Robert Gampolo in Mingo Junction , OH has been incarcerated for the past 4 years according to the PD. I just filed a 'unauthorized use' claim with PayPal and got all my money back. PM me guys if you need any help with this .

That's what I would do, dispute it with PayPal or your bank and it shouldn't be a problem getting your money back

You can file as item not received, but unauthorized transaction will get your refund quicker.
I filed a claim aith paypal as unauthorized use so I'll find out in 10days

I wonder if you can get an administrator to trace the ip address of the posts and maybe you can figure out how to contact him, and possibly file a class action suit

We do not get involved in Marketplace disputes.
Whatever you do, please make sure to file a complaint at www.ic3.gov. I am a police officer and we send victims of all internet fraud to there. Its the best chance at making him pay if all victims report it.

What a worthless scumbag. We need to get this guy arrested and charged so he can never pull this crap again.
Pappy, I'm feeling your anger but you gotta know that your going to run into the same road blocks I did..... he's acting under total anonimity. None of the 4 names he used were legit, and the one that seemed legit was the Robert one and when I looked into that it turned out that person had been in jail since 2008; obviously meaning it wasn't really that guy. Then the police told me that because the amount stolen was under $500, it wasn't even a felony! That the FBI would be happy to take a complaint..... ultimately never doing anything about it. Just learn from this piece of crap , and what he did, and file the claim with PayPal to get your money back.
This may be a dumb question but if he's a member of this forum and 1 too many people have already been ripped off, why is he allowed to stay and keep stealing from members?
Mods may not get involved in forum disputes but I've been a member for a long time on many different forums and this here wasn't tolerated. I recall vividly the admins of some big forums banding together and collectively banning a thief who was robbing members like it was a full time job.
I'm sorry but with this kind of treachery admins (not mods) NEED to get involved.
Sorry to all those that got duped. We expect selling and trading to be reputable yet some cant help but ruin it for others.
