Answering calls fails when bluetooth device connected

[Android Central Question]

Hello,

I have a Pixel 2 and Huawei watch. When my watch is connected via bluetooth I can pick up a call with it without issue. But when I decide to pick up with the phone instead there is no sound for me or the caller.

I had the same watch before and a Nexux6p and I never had this problem.

Any ideas?
