Answering calls.

Swipe to answer is annoying to me, does anyone out there know if there is an option to change that to simply press a button?

Not that I know of at least in the stock system. I wonder if you could change it by downloading a third party phone dialer app?

You can set it up to answer by pressing home button and ending the call with the power button. Open phone app, tap more on top right, settings, answering and ending calls.

Not sure why mine is different, but I don't have to swipe to answer. I can just tap the green button on incoming calls to answer, or tap the red decline button to decline.

Under accessibility settings, turn on Single Tap mode. That will do the trick for you.
