Antenna Gate 2.0

Aye! I just don't understand why the NS4G, I truly don't see any similarities between it and the iPhone but maybe I'm just being ignorant.

I think the conditions of the lawsuit are pretty obvious. Its quite evident that Samsung stole the defective antenna design from the iPhone 4 for the Nexus S 4G. They, nor Sprint, nor Google seem to be able to provide any alternative answer for all the signal issues we're having. Carry on Apple!

So true, I see no similarities between the Charge and i*hone. Actually, part of the reason I got the Charge was for its distinctive design!

Maybe google should be this law suit happy with Apple. Like with the "new" and "revolutionary" pull down notification bar ios 5 uses. Btw how does the nexus or the charge look anything like the iphone?

Who cares if apple sues samsung? Its not like if they win police are going to come to your house and take your nexus.....suing and being sued comes along with the territory of being a huge multi-billion dollar company. This lawsuit probably won't affect us as consumers at all.

Meh. The OP said it best: Your black slab looks like my black slab

It's the typical game in the U.S. tech industry, using the American courts to help keep your AR department busy. It won't change anything. Apple might get some money from Samsung. Doubtful that would add much to the price of Samsung gear. My guess: the price that Samsung charges for components might go up.... Apple's hardware might get pricier! lol

Considering Samsung supplies a number of parts to Apple, I'd fully expect that the internals would be sharing the same parts.

The reasons for this lawsuit is that Apple holds the patent for "icons on a touchable surface", I would assume.

Rumor is that the next iPhone will have a curved glass display. I imagine this suit is simply a case of "the best defense is a good offense. "
