Anti Theft gone mad

I had anti theft on, i changed sim and since then my device is not accepting my on screen password.
It says please enter prvacy protection password, i replaced new sim with original sim & the device still wont accept my original password i have been using since months, whats happening & how do i deal with it?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? What do you mean by "anti-theft"?

The Privacy Protection password is typically something you set up. It might also be related to the SIM card (i.e., a SIM lock) -- this is also something that you would have set up, if it was your card to begin with. Which carrier are the SIMs from? I'd contact them and ask if they can help.
