No not really looks like a crash and burn.
Ubuntu touch and BB10 look far more interesting.

Firefox is my main browser and IMO I think it should stay as just a browser. That's what it's good at, but I wouldn't say no to trying a Firefox OS out.

I don't think it will fail, but I don't exactly think it would be a extremely popular, mainstream OS.

The demos for it look pretty bad.

It looks similar to ios, or Symbian, but did seem quite lack lustre in performance.
Though the devices were low-end.

I'm interested. I don't think it will go anywhere and I'm not particularly interested in getting a device that runs it but it would be fun if it provided a little pressure for Google. The talk from Mozilla that I've read though has seemed to suggest this is something that will be targeted in smaller markets for low-end phones and such, so it might not necessarily be something that comes to the US. I'll probably follow news on it though. I'd consider myself a Chrome fanboy (I freaking love my Chromebook) but I do think it has some flaws and if Mozilla is going try and compete with Chrome OS, I'd like to see if they have an answer to some of those flaws.
