you have some like AVG,AVAST
but for android i don't think you need

Lookout seems to be pretty effective. Other pluses are that it is free and uses very little power and resources while it continuously runs in the background.

Of course, caution and common sense are equally effective. Don't download suspicious apps, stick to those in Google Play, read reviews of apps from other users, review permissions, etc

I used trustgo but switched to avast. I'm really liking avast it's free and works.
