I have a GS4,,, a Nexus 10 and an iPad,,,,,, of course there were benefits when I had my iP5 working with my iPad (cloud, pictures, music and stuff like that),, but I must admit to being kinda dumb as to what, if any, the benefits would be in getting a Samsung tablet since I now own the GS4,,,, or would my Nexus 10 do anything that a Samsung tablet would do.

Sorry for the dumb question, I'm just not that knowledgable about what stuff can be done with an Android phone working with an Android tablet and how it all differs from my past experiences spent with my iP5 working and playing nice with my iPad.

Thanks much in advance.
Cheers

Samsung-specific stuff would be the only thing that your Nexus wouldn't do... Cloud sync, Dropbox, GMail, apps, etc. will still work, even your Music account (if you have any). However, if you have a Samsung Calendar or SNotes, those wouldn't sync with your Nexus (Although SNotes can be exported manually and I've yet to know anyone that uses JUST the Samsung Calendar; usually that is synced to your Google Calendar so your Nexus will also see it).

I was looking at the Tab2 10.1 since AT&T has a special ($199.00) going on if you already bought an S4.

Problem is... all the reviews I read didn't rate the Galaxy tablet very high.

I do believe you'll be VERY disappointed when comparing your gorgeous S4 screen resolution to the one on the Tab :P

Samsung tablets are pretty awful. They also make the Nexus 10 which is about the only Android tablet that is close to an iPad 4. But the screen is washed out in comparison.

Ugh no. Nexus 10 still has the highest resolution out of any tablet out so far.
