When I bought the s6 edge last year on preorder from att I got it two days early. Not sure if that's how it usually goes.

Yeah, my Verizon preorder is also saying "will ship by 3/11". Will ship by 3/11? That's the day the phone comes out.

As others have said -- depends on carrier. I know T-Mobile (at least in the past) strives to actually try and ship pre-orders out ahead of time. My last two pre-orders with them arrived early (1 week for the first .. the 2nd one was about a week and a half early).

I got the S6 6 days prior to launch on TMO. would have gotten it sooner if my order didn't get screwed up. Hope S7 comes early.

When do you expect to see the earliest date when they could start the shipping process? Do they go in order they were pre-ordered or just random? I ordered mine around 9:30 am Tuesday morning.
