Any downside to encrypting Droid Turbo??

I just got my Droid Turbo from Verizon and am considering encrypting it. Has anyone done this? Is there any downside?

Biggest downside for me is you'll never be able to disable the lockscreen with the phone encrypted.

If I could keep my phone unlocked when connected to my home wifi I'd definitely encrypt it.
