Does anyone have experience with Xamarin developing Android (or any for that matter) mobile apps?
I've been a longtime iPhone user, and have recently (yesterday) pre-ordered a Samsung S8+ (Long story short, I was frustrated with Apple's way or the highway, so I'm jumping on the highway
)
I have years of experience in C# developing windows applications, and am interested in developing a few apps for Android that I was unable to locate an Android alternative for apps I use on iOS.
So I was just wondering if anyone has already ventured down the Xamarin (Visual Studio) path?
I'm hoping that it makes decent, native, applications for Android as while I know java, I hate java, and would much prefer to program in C#.
