Any fix to this annoyance?

When you click on an app to open and instead it behaves as if you long pressed it and gives you the options of uninstalling etc...? Does it happen to anyone else?

I've never had this problem with any Samsung phone including my s10e...

do you have a launcher installed on your phone? did you install a screen protector? (do you have the factory one installed still or have you removed it?)

I do have a tempered glass screen protector on.

Have you tried turning on the increase touch sensitivity switch? Supposedly for use with screen protectors (although I haven't needed it).

You might just be tapping it too long. The default settings is if you've pressed it for 0.1 secs, it's a tap, and a long press is detected after 0.5 seconds. Go to settings>accessibility>interaction and dexterity>touch and hold delay>set it to medium (1 sec) or long (1.5secs) or custom length.
You can also set a longer tap duration there.
