Any good phones under $250?

I'm looking for a cheap android phone but a good one.

Things I'm looking for are as follows

Micro SD expansion
Screen size under 5 inches (basically pocket friendly phone)
Android 4.0 and up
Hardware menu, home, and back buttons (capacitive buttons are ok)
Will work on major Canadian carriers
3g internet
I would prefer a little notification light so I know if I got a notification without turning on my phone
6-8 hour battery (moderate usage)
A processor that can handle live wallpapers, widgets, and gaming and stuff like that
1 gb ram
No moto g 1st or 2nd gen

The highest price I will go is $300 USD

Well, you just left out the best options. LG G2 mini could be another option.

If it wasnt updated to android l I wouldnt have said that. I hate android ls "material design" ugliness imho

Well, you can always stay with kitkat. There are some tricks to avoid the update notification if that bothers you. I don't think that Moto G is going to come with lollipop preinstalled for a little while.
