Hi, tablet was working fine last night. Screen started flickering as the battery was low and then switched itself off. Left it to charge overnight and then switched it on this morning to see these strange black marks on the screen.

It has not been dropped (to my knowledge) and the screen is not cracked. Managed to unlock it but then apps were just opening of their own accord like the screen thinks it's being tapped.
Was just wondering if anyone had any idea what caused this and if it's fixable. Thanks.

That looks like a failing screen. Do you recall if it was overheating? I wonder if excessive heat might have caused that. Or any water exposure?
