I read every post on the changing Verizon data plans so I quickly added unlimited data on my son's phone... also read that there might be a free Tbolt coming and figured the cost of data would outweigh phone cost.....Any news yet? My son has an old Versa and is anxiously awaiting a new android device-

PS~I love my TBolt and have had none of the problems that I have read about :)

I think it's going for $100 on Amazon if I remember correctly... Also, someone correct me if I'm wrong but when Verizon does eventually offer it for free... the offer is for new accounts only.

Don't know where you live but Fry's Electronics had a tbolt for 89 bucks new and upgrade price.

I do not mean to be the bearer of bad news, but the LG Versa is considered a multi-media phone, not a smartphone, and thus has a different data package tree. As a result, when you go to upgrade to any smartphone, you will go to tiered data.

Keeping unlimited data through upgrades only applies when going from smartphone to smartphone, sadly.

There will probably be a buy-one-get-one-free Thunderbolt promo just before they announce the Thunderbolt II. But that won't be until the end of the year.....IMO.
