Android Central Question

I know back in late January they said that South Korea got 9.0, but I don't know if there's been any further news on whether or not the LG G7 is getting the 9.0 update anytime soon. Wishfully hoping for a release date, but I doubt it.

"The T-Mobile G7 is getting it" means absolutely nothing. In theory, all of the G7s in the world "are getting it". The question is when?

I don't have the G7 so how would I know when you are getting it? I put "no date yet".

How long have you had androids? It's like this w/every device w/every carrier or even unlocked every year.

Nobody here knows when the hell any update is coming.

When the G7 forum blows up and you see 100 threads, you know it's here.

And yet they other OEM has updated at least their 2018 flagship. Not LG, they're too busy giving you boy band wallpapers and coming up with gimmicks for their next phone. Don't give me that about this always having been the same. There was project treble to begin with. There was an announcement by LG of a global upgrade center to bring timely updates to their devices, and there was a roadmap to update the G7 in Q1. So eight months after the stable release and over a year after the first beta, LG's behavior is just unacceptable. This is my last LG phone.
