It's Rogers... They bother me. I would have switched carriers about a year back, but they had a really good phone plan going and so they've suckered me in for another two years.

I show two updates dated July 23 in System Update History. These installed almost immediately after I activated the phone. On Verizon.

I have to say, this topic has been a sore spot for users as long as I've been an Android user (forever). Updates are so arbitrary and left solely to the provider. I'd like one that would jack up my cellular radio!

I just read an article from 2 days ago that said T-Mo customers should have already started getting the update. They say the only change note is security update so not a terrible amount to get overly excited about. Not sure what that means for other carriers. The new update ends in DTF6. The version I got earlier in the month ends in DTF3.

Just got the July update last night on my snapdragon S10e factory unlocked. Haven't experienced the drain/heating issues.
