Any Noticeable Difference Overclocking to 1.4 gHz

System Tuner <FREE>is a great alternative to SetCpu as well. Looking to overclock my Thunderbolt at the moment and possibly put Liquid Smooth 3.2 on it.

With aosp roms you won't need to oc. They tend to fly without it and oc may result in random reboots. With bamf11 or soab i find ocing does reduce lag a little...or at least it seems to but keep an eye on phone temperature.

Also try different kernels as some may work better than others. Be sure they're compatible with your Rom though. Scope out the forums and you'll find what you need.
