Any one else regret?

Wait. The nexus s is getting jelly bean...... Son of a ....

Definitely not just browser reloading. That annoyed me but I can live with it. What really drove me crazy this weekend was trying play a game and switching over to send a text message only to have the game COMPLETELY reload from the beginning when I switched back. That got me to the point of full regret. I would miss the screen, the look of sense and physical design of the EVO but the multitasking is killing me.

Okay, now that I can see! Although, I've never personally experienced this. Oh, I know why. It's because I have pop up notifications of new messages (which I think essentially 'pause' the game when they come up) that allow me to reply and send right within said pop up. Neat, huh?

Do I regret getting the evo no I don't if this multitasking issue really bothers me than ill go with the s3 but I would rather deal with weak multitasking than dumbed down search

So you'd rather have something that will bother you likely every 1, 5, 10, 30 minutes every single day vs something that you probably barely use and can replace with 3rd party applications?

My only regret is that I didn't wait until the white version came out. The screen on this phone is an Ace card that can't lose. Whenever someone places their phone next to mine to "show me how their phone is better", all I do is set the brightness to 100% and watch them squint

I love my EVO even though it has its quirks. I went and tried out the S3 but I can say with a 100% certainty that the EVO trumps it. I just hate sprint for not launching the white version at launch because thats the one I really wanted

I have a friend who works for Sprint, and she let me use her GS3 for a few days while I waited for the white EVO, and in my opinion the GS3 just doesn't hold a candle to the Evo. I just didn't like Touchwiz, and the feel of the GS3 as a whole. It just wasn't for me.

Now that I have the Evo, I'm very happy with it. I really like what HTC did with Sense, and even though the phone has its quirks, I still love this phone more and more every day. I even got almost 35 hours on a single charge, which I thought was amazing.

I also have to say that the white Evo LTE is possibly one of the best looking phones I've ever seen. I've got many compliments on it in just the few days I've had it, and it was well worth the wait.

I'm still within my return window and I'm seriously debating exchanging for the S3. I have loved it so far but I'm having a few really annoying issues. I'm getting the Sense home screen reload quite often, my battery is at 40% after like 5 hours unplugged, and the multitasking issue is really annoying with games.

How on earth do you guys get 30+ hours on this battery?!

Make sure you did not turn on "Best WiFi Performance". That is enemy #1. Otherwise, try a hard reboot (turn off fastboot and reboot). An idle Evo LTE should get something like 24 to 48 hours of standby off the battery. And something like 5 hours or more of voice calls on a full charge. It will vary greatly when actually used, of course. Plenty of threads on battery... just search.

It is far more than just browser reloading. If it doesn't bother you, that is great, but it is extremely annoying for other people.

In any case, I will repeat what I have said in other postings... if you don't like it, please tell HTC.
I did tell HTC and talked to them on the phone numerous times and there was nothing they could do. They said the phone was working perfect and if I was not to switch brands. So I switched brands and carrier. I am now a happy person.

At first I did not care for the gs3, but I must admit that I am in love now. I opened a website from 3 days ago and it was still there. I opened the calculator and it still had figures from last week. That's the way multitasking should work. I know the screen is not as good as the evo, but it is great.

The bells and whistles are all bonus. I never had Samsung before and never cared for them, but the gs3 is amazing. There's a reason why its a hot seller.
