A week since Samsung started rolling out stable Android 14, One UI 6.0 to a few international devices, F946B, and a few U.S.A. locked devices, F946U, there appears to be a hiatus in the releases. In particular, nothing for the stock Samsung European Fold5's or the U.S.A. unlocked models that are normally among the first to be updated.

There no rhythm to Samsung's rollouts but carriers got the stable first and unlock for US will be last and even if unlock did roll it out the beta members are last wasn't like that a year ago

It will be interesting to see which build number and date as well as which security patch we will eventually receive.

Yeah definitely, I went through this with the s23u lol beta users last so flashed with Odin

Samsung have just released their stable One UI 6.0, Android 14, update, BWKA, for Fold5 UK/European users on the international model, F946B, along with the November security patch.


Build = F946BXXU1BWKA

Download = 451.69MB (this is the d/l size for existing Beta users)

Build date = 13 November 2023

Camera version = 14.0.00.46

Security patch = 01 November 2023


It is a FOTA, (Firmware Over The Air), update and you can check... Settings > Software update... to see if it is available for you. Alternatively, you can connect to the Samsung PC suite, Smart Switch and check via that.

Got the official update today on my US unlocked model with T-Mobile SIM. Was running beta.

Super happy that I didn't have to do any hacks for getting the official update

Brand new unlocked Fold 5 here. Checked and only got the 5.1.1 update with Android 13.

It depends on your device name, (F946B, F946U, F946U1, etc: ), and your carrier. Most international devices have received the update. A few of the USA locked devices and none of the unlocked have it.

USA unlocked I got it T-Mobile sim but was in beta so don't know if get it first or was rolled out to all unlock

I'm checking Frija servers so unlock haven't gotten it yet it was unlocked beta users first
