An interesting option. Having that functionality might well be worth the $99 pricetag. However, I'll be in places where there isn't any WiFi access, so it doesn't seem particularly useful for my shorter-term needs.Too bad they don't have a Bluetooth version.
Eye-Fi cards actually have the ability to create their own network, that you can then connect your Android device to and transfer your photos w/ out the need for a Wi-Fi network. This feature is called Direct Mode and is available in all Eye-Fi X2 card models (the Connect X2 retails for $49.99). Also, the accompanying Eye-Fi app if free on the Android market.
