I've only got one line on the simple choice plan $80 unlimited everything been thinking of switching to the new tmobile one plan, is there any reason to not switch to the tmobile one plan vs the simple choice plan

Feature-wise, your plan is nearly the same as T-Mobile One Plus ($5 add-on to One).

So... guessing you are paying, what, $4 in taxes and fees on that plan? So that's $85, or in that ballpark. If you snatched up One Plus, with auto-pay, its $75.

If you don't care about mobile hotspot data and don't mind the 480P video when on mobile, don't bother with the Plus add-on.

I'm on a SC plan myself, and I would switch over to One in a heartbeat, but my base plan is the 2 for $100 plan and I also tacked on 3 free lines during a few recent promos... if I convert to One, T-Mobile won't let me keep those three lines as free lines. Much sad.

There would be no reason imo not to switch unless you think it's super important to watch videos in hd. I would also suggest taking the option to pay with autopay to save from paying taxes and fees
