Any reason not to switch from Spotify to Deezer?

Hi everybody. I'm currently a Spotify premium subscriber and use it to download music so I can listen when offline, in the car etc.

I've noticed that Deezer have a special offer at the moment and it's half the price of Spotify for the premium version.

I think I'm going to jump but I wondered if anyone had any experience with Deezer and would recommend it? I've tried a trial and it seems ok.

Cheers.

I just did the same thing, here in the UK it's ?4.99 a month. So far I'm impressed with the choice of music, seems to have all my bases covered. The mobile apps maybe aren't as good, but for saving ?60 a year i'll take that :)

Thanks Richard. I think I'm going to go for it. The saving is too much to ignore and I can't see any downsides at the moment.

I used to use Deezer when it was free on my Orange contract in the UK. Pretty similar to Spotify, I think they have all the same label deals!

I would recommend Google Music but 4.99 is pretty good for Deezer!

A ;)

I tried spotify, I like MOG better because the interface on phones is easier to use, and the sound quality is better - 320k streaming and downloads.

Switching at the end of the month. Deezer released a Mac OS x native client (still in Beta), it does not have the silly 3333 offline tracks limit on a mobile device, I can upload my own mp3 files to their server to fill any gaps they have in their catalogue. Awesome
