I used to get music information when I played something from Google music. Now all I get is unknown?20190324_234135.jpeg

Try restarting both devices first, if that does not work, next try unpairing then pairing again.

I was having the same issue, Galaxy Watch not controlling Google Play Music. I had unpaired/repaired, restarted etc. I went into Google play music settings, just looking around and toggled the "downloaded only" button and now it works. Wether the button is toggled to download only or not, it works.

I don't know if this is the solution, but it's the last thing I changed before it started working. Good Luck!!!!!

I'm having the same issue with my Galaxy s10 plus but with Amazon music. I've been going through the Samsung wear app but nothing I do gets it to work again. Any help would be appreciated

Did you try toggling the downloaded only in Google Play Music?

Damn, I had literally been trying everything the past couple of days. I guess it just decided to start working. Thought maybe the toggle had something to do with it.

Here's the solution I found on the Samsung community forum that worked for me and others

"Had the same problem with s10+. This fixed it: (1) disconnect watch and phone using Galaxy Wearables app; (2) restart phone; (3) reconnect watch and phone using Galaxy Wearables app"
