Agree. The + is my first Samsung and I'm really enjoying it so far.

I originally ordered the S22 Ultra through T-Mobile. They were giving me $1000 for my note 10 plus. Samsung was not giving as much. I cancelled the ultra order because T-Mobile updated that trade in value to be $1000 for the S22 plus.

The phone was delivered yesterday but I'm on a ski weekend. So I will finally see the phone tomorrow. This phone was closest in size to the Pixel 6.

Enjoying the 22+ so far. It feels great in the hand, the camera is very good in most situations and the battery life is good not great. I live in an area where the 5G infrastructure isn't that great so I save a lot of battery by turning 5G off. The phone is fast and capable . The screen is incredible and the stereo speakers are very good. I am use Nova Launcher and keep things pretty simple and so far smoothness and animations are great. The 120Hz refresh rate on the screen is just lovely. Overall a SOLID everyday use smartphone that I'm happy to have as my daily driver. Coming from the iPhone 13 Pro Max, the S22 is a breath of fresh air...

How u can turn off 5g? I don't think it's possible on Verizon.

Battery has been alright for me but I rarely leave the house so I'm always on wifi and I set it to 60hz always for the display. I did have issues with wifi connections being flaky. Turned off the option to switch to mobile data if a wifi network is struggling and it's been fine since. Good sized screen, not too heavy. Even with a screen protector (film, not glass) fingerprint scanning has been working just fine.

I'd be a lot happier if Samsung pushed some patches for it but no S22 series phone in the US has been patched yet as far as I know.

Coming from a Pixel 5a the UI is a million times better. Actually usable, readable and helpful, and the colors you can pick from are much more vivid. You're still locked into the generated colors when using stock UI (I think themes can have more options?) but at least it's not 4 very similar pastels. Samsung may not be "stock" but there's a lot of options that you don't get on stock which make the phone experience much better.

Settings-->connections-->wifi-->3 dot menu top right-->Advanced-->"Switch to Mobile Data"

I also disabled the show mobile data quality info and wifi power saving mode options.

Seemed to help a lot after that.

Thanks. Mine is already off. I have had some dropped calls on wi-fi.

I originally got the S22 Ultra, but I just returned it for the S22 Plus. Just .2 screen size difference, but those squared sides and flat screen. I think makes more sense for me.
