Does anyone who owns a GN live in San Diego? If so, how is the signal quality for 4g/3g? Do you experience the signal issues that others have regarding not having high or any data speeds around different areas or indoors, etc.?

I'm thinking about switching from a Rezound to a Galaxy Nexus because I really want that super amoled screen and if the phone works just as good as a Rezound it'd be cool, though I know I'm concerned about the GN camera but I could live with it

I'm in Orange County but I frequently drive to San Diego. I'm happy to report that I've not had any signal issues. Also, an update is right around the corner for the Nexus which supposedly brings a better radio, but again, I have not had any problems.

Another thing to think about is the Rezound is getting ICS soon and along with it new bugs. The Galaxy Nexus is already getting the ICS bugs ironed out and will be ahead of other ICS devices.

I live in San Diego, I don't experience any issues with 3G/4G. The camera is great. Don't be fooled by the lesser specs on the GN. I went to SF and took a ton of pictures and they all were fantastic.

I've experienced some signal issues in La Jolla area. I had weak or no data signal in quite a few different places, and sometimse the signal went on and off while I was sitting in one spot.

I'm in a different state now and the signal has been much better, probably because this area hardly has tall buildings or mountains that can cause interference.

Went to SD over the weekend of the Gnex launch and didn't have any issues.

I live in Ocean Beach and work in Clairemont

I get stellar service everywhere.

20mbs is pretty standard.

I live in San Diego, and get good service. In kearny mesa I get full bars. some places close to the border on 805 I get 1-2 bars but doesn't drop data or calls. I had the rezound and traded for the nexus. I like it better. Shows less bars, but that is just the way the phone displays the signal. It's thinner and nice screen and is ahead of all other phones as far as ics goes.
