I went to best buy this weekend to inquire and they said they won't have display until the 7th. Then I showed them my G6 from tmo

I live in Utah and the main corporate Tmobile store by me had it. I saw it in person this past saturday and it looks really good.

Agreed, OP! Can't wait to see it and hold it! Don't know anything about when it will be out in Canada. But I do hear that Rogers (who has my life - I mean, money ) will be carrying it, so that may be my next purchase, if Honor/Huawei doesn't keep me.

I called my local t-mobile, and they told me they don't have them on display yet. But they have them in the back and will show me one if I want to see it.

I went to my local T-Mo store today and they had one on display but due to their security clamp on the phone I couldn't really use the phone because the little clamps were touching the screen and causing issues.

That is unfortunate. Those clamps really do get in the way!

After reading this post I went to go check my T-Mobile store about five minutes away and they had the phones. A black one and a silver one. All clamped up like you said. Unfortunately the batteries were dead on both of them. But they are really nice looking phones and they really feel good in the hand. The websites make the sides looks thick but they really aren't.

Man I really like the look and feel of the phone. From the website I was set on silver but that all black looks really nice... Reminds me of my G2. I wonder if LG just completely omitted the oleophobic coating because it sure had smudges front and back ??????. Well that was my 2 minute impression.

I purchased the black one and I made the right choice for me. It's really slick and eye catching.

I do want the Orchid Gray S8 though.
