Is this rate still available? i called Verizon and they stated this was an alltel plan and only previous alltel users have this rate.

Any help would be great.

yes it is log in to verizon through a web browser not the phone app. you can add it and take it off at your pleasure for a dollar a day. but if you try to add hotspot through mobile app it does not have the 30 a month unlimited tether. Have fun

I was told as long as i kept a smart phone that I would always be a unlimited customer but the new customers are seeing a tiered system on bucks for verizon..

as for anything on tethering,, i use PDA.net and hook direct to cpu thru USB and it can not be traced..
unless i chose to allow some small trace..so heck with verizon and i will stay on unlimited as long as i live. beside folks whats the need for tethering anyways.. now that i have hdmi.. i can use the phone to watch netflix on my tv... or even use the TV as my monitor...
