Any update on whether the camera of Pixel 2 will have OIS?

It was one of the biggest weaknesses of last year's Pixels. What's the latest from the rumour mill? Will we get OIS on Pixel 2?

Well, not for me. My Pixel XL the best low light camera I have ever seen myself. Better than my Note 7 when I had it, etc. I hope the Pixel 2 has OIS too, but it's not like low light was a weakness at all for the Pixels (never mind "one of the biggest weaknesses"). It would be a nice bonus to have OIS, yes. But it won't be a factor in my buying decision if the camera is as good as last year's.


p.s. I could probably find 5 Youtube comparisons in a minute showing the Pixel being much better in low light than GS7's, iPhones, etc ... i wouldn't go by that 1 review ..

According to:
GSMarea - it might have a 12 MP sensor with EIS (gyro)
AndroidCental - Single rear shooter, single front-facer, EIS
TechRadar - 12MP & 7MP cameras + EIS

So it looks like we may be getting EIS again this year but its only final when Google officially announces it
