Hi All,
I was trying to set up my wife's Epic 4G with my calendar via ActiveSync, but when I set up a second AS account it doesn't have a checkbox that I can clear to NOT sync email. My brother's Evo Shift and my friends' Droid 2, Droid 3, and Galaxy Nexus all have three checkboxes to sync Mail, Contacts, and Calendar, and you can uncheck any of them to not sync them. The Epic only has two checkboxes.
This is what frustrates me greatly with Android and one of the reasons I switched from WebOS to an iPhone 4S. It's bad enough 95% of Android phones released in the last year won't get ICS, but now I can't even rely on stock OS app settings being consistent across manufacturers?
Is there any way to hack the phone to get the option to not sync email back? Or is anyone here using a custom ROM that has the setting in their email client? As much as it's a PITA I'll put a mod ROM on there if it means my wife can get my Calendar on her phone.
Thanks for any help you guys can give me!
Nick
