Any word on Verizon Wireless releasing Android 8 for the HTC 10?

Just wondering if the HTC 10 on Verizon Wireless will get Android Oreo

It's supposed to per Verizon and HTC, but I wouldn't count on it anymore. Nougat is working fine for me with the exception of an occasional battery drain.
Just my 2 cents.

If you look up Verizon in the dictionary it says "fat chance"! Im still waiting for 7.1 let alone 8.0 LOL

dont think will ever get 7.1 seems like they decided to skip that.

still hoping for Oreo, but will probably only see if get new phone. lol
