Any word on a 4g verizon device that is dual core and has a physical keyboard?

i cant seem to let go of the hard keyboard and want the newest technologies...?
thanks
using a d2g right now

I wouldn't expect to see that until the Droid 3, would make sense because that would be an exclusive featureset that they could market.

Only thing I've seen regarding the Droid 3 in this regard is that it'll be 3G and not LTE.

HTC has a phone that has a dual-core processor and a slide-out qwerty keyboard in the making that is headed to T-Mobile or AT&T. It looks similar to the T-Mobile G2, which made itself to Sprint and Verizon in the forms of the HTC EVO Shift 4G and the HTC Merge. At this point it's quite likely that the new device will end up at Verizon but it's also likely that the device will be pimped out with Bing instead of Google, as this was the fate of the HTC Merge. The Merge doesn't have 4G LTE but it seems that this new device would likely have it if it made it's way to Verizon.

There will not be an LTE device with a keyboard until Winter at the earliest. The technology right now makes it simply impossible to cram an LTE radio into anything other than a big-screened slab form factor.

Yeah, that thing would be a brick if it came out today.

So, as of now and the near future choosing an LTE phone means that it will not be a global phone, not have a slide out keyboard, and most likely have a shorter battery life? Originally I looked at LTE as a must but seems there are sacrifices and come to think of it if I am at home or work I would be using WIFI anyway.

Well yeah. LTE radios are still on the original version. Once revisions are approved we'll start seeing more handset diversity.

Yeah, but considering the issues that they're still having with the LTE network, I wouldn't expect any new revisions to get approved anytime soon.
