Title says it all really, after a buggy few days I am considering exchanging for the S22+ while I still can and keep my incentives.

Anybody else?

Are you in an Exynos country or Snap Dragon country? Because if you are in an Exynos country won't you still be stuck with an Exynos? I mean you have a 1080 screen which means you probably won't experience the display issue. Nothing wrong with the S22+ in my mind except your not getting the cameras if that matters to you and the lower resolution screen which personally doesn't bother me cause I run FHD+ on my N20U without a thought about WQHD+.

What phone were you rocking before this S22U?? That would make a difference to me. If you were rocking an N20U I'd say refund the whole thing and they will have the same incentives most likely when they release the S23U... The N20U rocking so good it will serve you well for another year and IMO N20U > S22+.

Exynos.

I have a Pixel 6 Pro which has it's own issues!

Rationale for considering the downgrade is that the display tech is different on the S22/S22+ and I have not seen any mention of lagging or scrolling issues for them. Also re the stuttery vertical scrolling the OnePlus 9m pro had this and I do not think it ever got fixed which could indicate hardware?

Hmm... Pixel 6 Pro... relatively new phone but with it's own problems eh??

Hmm... S22+ looks like a nice phone and spec-wize matches up with the 6 Pro. I dunno what I would do in your shoes... I would maybe go with a new S21U over the S22+. I like having the versatility of the cameras and enjoyed the zoom in my travels.

If it was not for the incentives I would return it and wait out the issues for a few weeks or so, with the extra trade in and free buds etc though it is not so easy! With the extra trade in I paid not much more than £800 for the 512gb model, in 2 days time that price jumps right back up!

Tough decision. I guess you have time to see what their fix will be... do you have a 30 day full return or something like?? Maybe a few updates will sort out all the issues. The screen issue hopefully they sort out within your return period because I would personally rather return and exchange over worst case scenario service repair/swap of hardware.

Samsung can do some interesting things... I believe it was the S8 with the pink screen??... after enough ******** about it online they finally addressed it. I think it was a batch of panels but their fix was software update where you have RBG sliders and you basically had to move the slider all the way to the end to get rid of as much of the pink as possible.

I'm not sure how it is in the UK, but if you did want to wait it out and didn't mind not getting the buds for free, I would imagine the phones will go on sale as most Samsung devices do here in the states. It may take a little bit for it to get down to that price, but if you are willing to wait, the bug could be fixed through a software update.

I have also got to send my trade-in device back son or they will chanrge me the extra.

I am switching from the S21 Ultra to the S22 plus. For me the ultra is too much phone for me. Honestly the flat screen is what sold me on the plus. I don't like the squared off corners and how tall and narrow the Ultra is. I did play around with the spen from my tab S8 on my 21 ultra. While it's cool, I can't see myself using one on a phone daily. I have always wanted a tablet so I don't spend so much time staring at a phone screen when consuming content or playing games. Trying to take notes or reading on my phone is horrendous as well.
