Anybody done the NEW 6/29 update yet?

I didn't want to be a guinea pig and avoided yesterday's update. Today they started pushing out a new update. I'm getting prompts to update again.

I'm understandably skeptical so I cancelled it. What about you?

Same here...saw that the update was available but haven't pulled the trigger yet.

Just did it. Took about 10 minutes to install. So far so good. Had to reset my widgets but that was no big deal. Full wifi bars, cant comment on battery yet.

But I guess no one is stupid enough to try to update again, who already did it yesterday. But, why is the file bigger in the newer update?

This happens when reinstalling backups also so it's not a update problem...hell it's not even a problem at all.

I just did is with an Unrevoked phone, though I had restarted since unrevoking the last time. Had to reset a few widgets and app short cuts, but otherwise, so far so good. Too early for batter, but wifi seems a bit stronger.

i also just did mine and it killed unrevoked. it no longer allows me to use my tether

Everyone, check out the more recent pages of the "Official 6/28 Update Thread - Discuss Here" thread - the Mods combined the original thread about the 6/28 update with a thead about the 6/29 update (?) Several people reporting about the 6/29 update with no issues of importance noted to date (besides breaking Unrevoked).

I come from the windows mobile world and Android is so much better, the little issues that i am having are so minor that i really cant call them issues....

battery life on smart phones has never been great or exceptional. I keep a charger in my car and one at work... so that keeps me good.

I updated 30min ago. No problems. At the end of the install I got a message that said install was succesful.
