Anybody else receiving Android 12 again?

I just woke up to an update on my Pixel 4a 5g to Android 12. But I've been on Android 12 since the public release and I also have a Pixel 6. The update is 1.82 GB. Anybody else receiving this that has Android 12 already?

I've seen a few other threads about it. I suspect a glitch in the update server. Send feedback to Google about it.

On my P5 the "new" 12 update is larger than the original. IIRC the original was 1.75 Gig. The new 12 is 1.88 Gig. I'm wondering if they added some features we didn't see in the first one. What those feature are, I have no idea. Heck, let me backup my phone and take one for the team, and see if the version changes. Be back in a bit.

It seems like the build they're pushing is the Verizon build. Not sure if that might cause any problems if you're not on Verizon. I'd still hold off.

If that's what they're doing it's probably related to the update bug on the Pixel 6, except they've not overshot the goal line...

Which Pixel 6 update bug? BTW, this particular issue doesn't seem to be affecting the 6 at all ...

Ah come on man! lol Didn't ya read my post, cause i'm in the middle of installing it. There pushing out the Verizon version of 12 to Pixel 3, 4 and 5 series. There has to be a very good reason for it. A Sweden Pixel 5 owner chimed in on 9To5 and said he got it there, and Verizon doesn't exist in Sweden.

But that would be the irony of it all, that Pixel isn't getting these while the others are and it may be they're pushing it in an attempt to get those updated...

Just got done updating to 12 AGAIN. Good news is, no version change. I'm still on the Global version SP1A.211105.003 and NOT the Verizon SP1A.211105.002.A1 Which is the version Abner Li, a 9To5 writer, is saying everyone is getting. So just a Google mistake or is there something else going on? Where's my tin foil hat.....................

Well i got the Verizon version as per the numbering above...but I am on a non-carrier phone operating on the Rogers network in Toronto (Canada). No where near a Verizon network or need for one.
But update could have been pushed to all phones with mmWave functionality which my phone has.

No I was on 12 already, got the notification for 12 update again. Was wondering what it was a bout, so I did it again to see if my version changed. My P5 was originally a Verizon phone. I had to have Verizon unlock it before moving to TMO. This happened before the original 12 version update.

So it went like this,
P5 Verizon phone on Verizon It has the mmWave and Sub6 in it.
Moved to TMO but had to have Verizon un lock it first
Verizon P5 now on TMO
Received initial Android 12 update
November Security update
And today another Android 12 update
Took one for the team and installed the second Android 12 update, just to see what would happen, and I'm still on the Global version of Android 12. SP1A.211105.003

Mine went from SP1A.211105.002 to the Verizon build SP1A.211105.002.A1. Unlocked 4XL that is on a MVNO accessing Verizon towers. Sure hope this does nothing to the phone. But time will tell. I don't see any strange Verizon added apps.

Doug got it on his 4xl. Installed it but was confused.

This Doug was also confused and figured it couldn't hurt and would remain there and possibly cause problems with future updates. So, like a good little robot, I updated (again). So far, no differences found and no nasty Verizon type apps added.

Not much I can do about it now; however, hoping the P6P I ordered gets here before the date google gave me.

I received the extra install on my unlocked Pixel 3a this morning, 1.5GB, and I installed it...no issues so far
