Is 4.1.2 a carrier specific thing? Don't see it for my international.

I just did a benchmark test on mine using Quatrant free version and this is what I got. Have not rooted yet but hopefully soon cuz I want free tethering.

Sorry didn't read your question right, mine still on 4.1.1, my bad. Thanks

4.1.2 galaxy note 2 :)

well if i remeber right the cpu speed was actually at 1.92 using note2core.as but that was experimental purpose to try increase the i/o,but according to the result it didnt even get past 1800 as generally i think at 1800 its around the 7000 score mark but i usually just pre set to 1600 as in all seriousness as much as i like to get the high benchmark tests it isnt that much noticeable in everyday use :)

Simple. Pirate a copy of Quadrant Advanced and watch your scores shoot up 1000+ points. For this reason alone I have no qualms with people pirating a "benchmark" that yields higher scores to paid customers.

Useless program.

Discussion of piracy is against forum rules and guidelines. This will be my one and only warning on this subject.

Thanks.

I don't really know what this scoring means, other than the higher number the better. But mine sure is a lot lower than everyone else's (stock 4.1.2).

Is there something I should do to improve performance?

I don't know what app hog I have installed, but something is having an impact on my phone. I just restarted my phone and was still was around 4,800. I did a factory reset, and now I'm at 6,700.

I've been fighting some unusual battery drain too. Overnight (8 hours) I seem to drop of 20-25%. After a factory reset (adding basically none of my apps), I only drop 8-10% overnight. So something is going on, but I haven't figure out what yet (I've been too impatient to systematically only add back one app/day).
