Anybody running their phone on 3G only?

I have 4G, but pretty weak (3G signal is great, so go figure), haven't seen any auto-switching between 4G/3G. With light/moderate use, I get about 11 hours on a charge, syncing corp. push email, pop email, gmail, Facebook, weather, etc., using the standard battery.

Using WiFi, a little better, about 15 hours.

Using 3G, getting about 28-30 hours out of a charge.

I have set several apps, like Social Location, to auto-kill after the screen goes off.

I've been trying to keep it in 4G, as I read somewhere else that the WiFi radio was a battery killer, so turned that off. Not sure I noticed a difference. However, it seems the Bluetooth radio kills the battery even when not connected, not discoverable, and not scanning for new devices. I prefer to leave on, so I don't have to remember to turn on when getting into the car, but yesterday my battery was down to 60 % after just 1 1/4 hours off the charge, with very light usage, and the BT radio had accounted for 26% of that, despite the fact it hadn't been used at all, seemed very strange to me. Turned the radio off and battery life seemed to improve today.

I am getting about 10 hours with moderate use, but that is standard with most smartphones, once they come out with an sbf file i will root it and i know it will improve considerably once i remove a lot of the bloat ware.
