Re: Anybody use the juice defender app?

I used it with juicedefender ultimate . I used aggressive but only found about 30 minutes of extra battery life . But i figure because i have my phone rooted and overclocked all the way and that drains a lot of battery life .

I used the ultimate for awhile.. Then learned all it really does is disabled mobile data when the phone is idle and I'd have to wait for it to reconnect when unlocking.. And if I didn't unlocked I would get no push messages due to it turning mobile data off.

Barley saw worthy battery life out of it so I don't use it anymore.

How does it work with notifications from like ESPN sportcenter and twitter e.t.c? do you still get those through in lock screen or do you have to unlock your phone to get notifications?

You use any others?

I used it for a couple of months and then removed it. Now have been using my phone without for a month, give or take, and it's the same. Like PP mentioned, it just disabled everything. I can do that myself.

Have you tried the Qualcomm Snapdragon Battery Guru app? It works really well with this phone.

I do not. I simply just use power saver mode if I know I won't use the phone that much and just manually control my brightness from the notification bar as needed.

I use ds battery saver. The thing I didn't like about juice defender was the delay turning data back on. Maybe they've fixed it since. You can turn off data manually I guess but it's a lot better to have it done automatically. There's definitely an increase in battery life without having data running in the background all the time.

I leave everything on all the time,, always get at least 12 hours,, pop a new battery in if needed. With a removable battery I don't understand the big concern about saving battery life so much.

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

It disable wifi but sometimes the notifications come thru . but you would most likely have to unlock the device

I do usethe Ultimate version a lot, in combination with Llama, because juice defender does not manage GPS auto on/off. Also, Llama does a really good job at switching my sound profile from normal to quiet and quiet to normal whether I'm at work, in the bus, at home, etc.....
